Peter Stoemmer has studied medicin at the university of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany and completed his MD, PhD and specialisation as general pathologist (including cytopathology and molecular pathology) at the age of 36 years) from Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen; after postdoctoral studies from Yale University School of Medicine in the laboratory of Juan Rosai and the supervision of A.B. He is the director and partner of Pathologie Augsburg, an independent Laboratory for surgical Pathology. He is senior lecturer and professor at the institute of pathology at the Friedrich Alexander university and published more than 125 papers in journals

Dr. Young is a research scientist at PH Miracle Center. He is a member of the American Society of Microbiologists, the American Naturopathic Association, an honorary member of the Connecticut Holistic Health Association, the Presidents Council at Brigham Young University, a consultant for InnerLight, Inc. and pH Miracle, Inc., and an advisor to Dean Lawrence Carter at the Martin Luther King Chapel at Morehouse College.

Dr. Dariusz Borys is an Associate Professor of Pathology and Orthopaedic Surgery, head of Orthopaedic and Pediatric Pathology and Director of Digital Pathology at Loyola University Chicago. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Wroclaw, Poland in 1994 and completed a residency program in anatomic pathology at County General Hospital in Wroclaw, Poland in 1995. He completed his postdoctoral research at the University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona in 1998. He continued on with and completed residency training in both anatomic pathology and clinical pathology at University of Illinois at Chicago in 2001. He received a Pediatric Pathology Fellowship at New York University, New York, New York in 2005 and followed that with an Orthopedic Pathology Fellowship at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, New York, New York in 2006. After completing his fellowships, Dr. Borys become faculty member in the rank of assistant professor at University of California and then he finally moved to Loyola University Chicago in 2013. At LUMC he is appointed as an Associate Professor of Pathology and Orthopaedic Surgery and is serving as the head of orthopaedic and pediatric pathology and director of digital pathology. Currently Dr. Borys' research focuses on the molecular markers in diagnostic, prognostic and targeted therapy in osteosarcoma.

In addition to clinical responsibilities on the Leukemia, Lymphoma and Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory services, Dr. Yin has been actively participating in multiple research projects in leukemia and lymphoma, which has led to over 100 research papers and over 20 book chapters. She serves as members of editorial boards for over 20 journals and ad hoc reviewers for over 30 journals. Her major research interests include molecular genetic aberrations in leukemia and lymphoma, development of molecular methodologies for the diagnosis, prognosis and minimal residual disease monitoring of hematopoietic neoplasms, mechanisms of resistance to tyrosine kinase inhibitors in patients with chronic myelogenous leukemia, as well as the role of immunoglobulin gene rearrangement in acute myeloid leukemia.

She is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Hematopathology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. In addition to clinical responsibilities on Lymphoma, leukemia, and flow cytometry services, Dr. Li has been actively participating in multiple research projects in lymphoma and leukemia, which has led to over 30 research papers and multiple book chapters. She also serves as members of editorial boards and ad hoc reviewers for multiple journals. Her major research interests include molecular cytogenetic risk stratification of DLBCL with a focus on “double hit” lymphoma and MYC/BCL2 double expresser lymphoma, clinicopathologic and molecular study of mantle cell lymphoma, and molecular genetic aberrations in lymphoma and leukemia.

Haodong Xu received his MD, MS, and PhD from Suzhou Medical College. He subsequently completed a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University School of Medicine, and a fellowship at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. He is currently Professor of Head and Neck and Cardiothoracic Pathology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. In addition, his interests also include molecular mechanisms of lung, head and neck tumors, and fibrosing interstitial pneumonia, and his basic research is focused on delineating the regulation mechanisms of voltage-gated cardiac ion channels.

Dr. Luo been studying molecular pathology related to human malignancies in the last 27 years. Currently, he is a Professor of Pathology and Director of High Throughput Genome Center at University of Pittsburgh. In the last 15 years, Dr. Luo has been largely focusing on genetic and molecular mechanism of human prostate and hepatocellular carcinomas. In this period, his group has identified and characterized several genes that are related to prostate cancer and hepatocellular carcinoma, including SAPC, myopodin, CSR1, GPx3, ITGA7, MCM7, MT1h and GPC3. He has characterized several signaling pathways that play critical role in prostate cancer development, including Myopodin-ILK-MCM7 inhibitory signaling, myopodin-zyxin motility inhibition pathway, CSR1-CPSF3 and CSR1-XIAP apoptotic pathways, MT1h-EHMT1 egigenomic signaling, ITGA7-HtrA2 tumor suppression pathway, GPx3-PIG3 cell death pathway, and AR-MCM7 oncogenic pathway. He proposed prostate cancer field effect in 2002. He is one of the pioneers in utilizing high throughput gene expression and genome analyses to analyze field effects in prostate cancer and liver cancer. He is also the first in using methylation array and whole genome methylation sequencing to analyze prostate cancer. Recently, Dr. Luo’s group found that patterns of copy number variants of certain specific genome loci are predictive of prostate cancer clinical outcomes, regardless tissue origin. His discovery of several novel fusion transcripts and their association with aggressive prostate cancer has brought significant new insight into the field of prostate cancer research. Overall, these discoveries advance our understanding on how cancer develops and behaves, and lay down the foundation for better future diagnosis and treatment of human malignancies.

K. H. Ramesh did his PhD, in Human Cancer Cytogenetics from Bangalore University, India. He trained under the guidance of world renowned geneticist Avery Sandberg, MD., at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, USA. He is Board Certified in Clinical Cytogenetics; currently a Diplomate of the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics, and Fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics. At present he is the Director of Cancer CytoGenomics and Associate Professor of Pathology at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, USA. He has over 25 years of experience in Human Cancer Genetics

Currently she is a pathologist, Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator of the breast tissue bank at Emory University, Director of the Immunolab at Grady Memorial Hospital and Adjunct Professor at Georgia State University. Wenqing Cao, MD is a gastrointestinal pathologist and assistant professor at University of Rochester Medical Center. She received her Medical Degree from Tongji Medical University, China. She completed Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at Northwester University and Gastrointestinal Pathology fellowship at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. Since 1998, Dr. Cao has done extensive basic and clinical translational research in GI malignancies. He has published more than 20 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member.
